I recently saw a few parts of Matthew Bournes Swan Lake. I have to say I found the parts I watched very elegant and lively. The part I watched first was when four males were dancing like swans. They were immensely graceful. I loved how they acted like how real swans would. The other part I saw was when the male lead (I think) was dancing with the black swan. It seemed like it it came from the soul. Their dancing was raw and strong like nothing could jilt it in anyway. The last and final part I saw was when the male lead and the good swan (I think) were dancing. This dance was different. It was romantic and soulful. It looked like it came from the heart and like it was made naturally. Not forced or rushed. It was passionate.
I can confidently say The swan Lake Is an Amazing production!
Well done Matthew Bourne! 🙂
